At Pine Valley Gundogs, all of our German Shorthaired Pointers/bird dogs are proven hunters in the field before being considered for breeding stock. That is only one part of the equation for a sound breeding program.
How It All Began
We started with our first German Shorthaired Pointer back in 1980 and our first pair of Beagles in 1983. Since then, we have grown to more than two dozen adult hunting dogs. We have always had a love for our canine friends.
We are a licensed commercial kennel located in Northern Lapeer County, Michigan. Besides raising quality hunting dogs, we have opened our home to numerous rescue dogs throughout the years. We recommend that anyone who is looking for a loving family pet, please visit your local shelter. If you are looking for a great hunting companion along with being a part of your fur family, we are here to fill that need.
German Shorthaired Pointers
All of our bird dogs are proven hunters in the field before being considered for breeding stock. That is only one part of the equation for a sound breeding program. All of our foundation stock GSP's have had their hips and elbows OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) certified to be sure that your GSP puppy will not suffer from any genetic medical problems, such as hip dysplasia. Our goal here at Pine Valley Gundogs is to offer you a healthy puppy that you can mold into your hunting companion for many years to come.

Beagles
All of our Beagles are hard hitting jump dogs, both registered AKC or registered NKC/ARHA (my old hunting bloodline). Gone are the days of jumping on brush piles to find rabbits, that job belongs to my bloodline of Beagles. From time to time, we have young started dogs for sale, and occasionally a limited number of adult running dogs. Please contact us and let me know what type of beagle you are looking for and I will give you an honest answer whether or not our line of beagles will fill your needs. We have mostly tri-color, red and bluetick beagles.
